Hello, I'm James Holloway.
I'm a family and newborn photographer based in Austin, Texas. What started as a quiet passion for documentary film has grown into something I truly believe is my purpose — being present for the small, enormous moments of family life.
My work lives in the space between posed and candid — where children are free to be themselves, parents feel comfortable, and love is the only direction anyone is looking. I believe the best photos don't feel like photos at all.

The first two weeks of a baby's life are a fleeting miracle. My newborn sessions are gentle, unhurried, and designed entirely around your baby's comfort and natural rhythms.
Available as in-home lifestyle sessions or in my soft, naturally-lit studio. I bring all wraps, baskets, and props — all carefully chosen for safety and warmth.

Kids & Birthday Shoots
Kids are at their best when they forget there's a camera. I use games, music, and gentle prompts to coax out real laughter and real personality — never a stiff pose in sight.
